Retinal Laser Treatment (Laser Photocoagulation)
Retinal laser treatment uses focused beams of light energy to seal leaking blood vessels, destroy ischemic areas of the peripheral retina, or create a microscopic seal around peripheral retinal tears and lattice degeneration. By preventing full retinal detachment and suppressing angiogenic triggers in proliferative diabetic retinopathy (Pan-Retinal Photocoagulation), laser therapy remains a cornerstone of long-term visual stability.
